Every turbine generator has the potential to be damaged by stray shaft voltage. This voltage can range from micro-volts up to hundreds of volts. Continuous operation above 10 VDC peak-topeak or 4 ADC can result in significant electrical damage to bearings, collars, journals, seals and shafts. Cutsforth's Dual Shaft Grounding System incorporates carbon brushes AND copper ropes providing a more effective shaft grounding system than current OEM and after-market designs.
