Normal Operating Field Amps

Also called 'Excitation Amps'. This is the normal operational field amps, typically found in the control room during normal operation.

Amps Per Square Inch (Normal)
A/in²
Amps Per Brush (Normal)
A/brush

Maximum Operating Field Amps

This is NOT nameplate field amps. Taken from control room historical data. This is the value that is rarely exceeded.

Amps Per Square Inch (Max)
